Players Headed to Far West Regionals
Get a Helping Hand from California Youth Soccer Association

Recognizing the commitment it takes to progress to the highest level of competition and the difficult economic times that have impacted families, the CYSA Board of Directors has allocated $60,000 in stipends that will be issued to the players attending the US Youth Soccer Region IV Championships with their CYSA State Cup champion and wildcard teams.

California Youth Soccer Association views each of our members as part of our extended soccer family. Throughout their 40 year history of offering youth soccer programs CYSA's philosophy has remained true to the fact that players and families come first. A service-oriented approach which places an emphasis on recognizing players as individuals rather than commodities has been the enduring standard that puts CYSA at the forefront in youth soccer. The welfare of the CYSA soccer family will always be "priority one".

The player stipends averaged over $3300 per team and are one more demonstration of CYSA's continued commitment to the players who are the very lifeblood of our organization.
