Opening Ceremonies

No opening ceremony is planned for this year’s US Youth Soccer Far West Regional Championships.  The Host Committee recognizes that this is a decision that will come as a disappointment to some and as a relief to others.  However, given that this year’s Regionals are being held in Las Vegas – widely regarded as the “Entertainment Capital of the World” – we are confident that those looking for activities will find the broadest array of choices available anywhere in the world.  In the end, we decided to leave the choice of activities to our visitors.  Those who are looking for a celebratory evening will find abundant options.  Those who are seeking rest in advance of their matches will have the freedom to rest.
