Overview
-- The Region IV Referee Academy was created in 2007 to
assist selected officials in gaining additional skills and
knowledge to better their on-field performance. The Academy is held in conjunction with the Regional ODP tournament and provides as opportunity to put knowledge into practice. Academy participants will apply their new skills during tournament games and analyze their performance during evening instructional meetings. Participants are nominated by their State Youth Referee Administrator (SYRA), the Regional Referee Administrator and Regional Referee Staff, and are selected based on their performance at the Far West Regional tournament, State Cup tournaments and various tournaments throughout the Region. |
