The remaining 2007 US Youth Soccer National Champions were
crowned today at Pizza Hut Park where the top four teams in each
age group in the country met to conclude the final leg of the
2007 US Youth Soccer National Championship Series. After this
week's three rounds of preliminary play, only the top two teams
in the country remained today, Under-15, Under-17 and the
Under-19 age groups, to play for their respective national

– The US Youth Soccer National Championships continued Thursday
evening with the second night of preliminary round play at Pizza
Hut Park. Each team played its second of three preliminary
matches seeking three points for a win or one point for a tie.
Severe weather delayed the start times by forty-five minutes.

Hut Park. It was a must-win situation for many of the teams
looking to advance to this weekend’s finals. Teams earn three
points for a win and one point for a tie. The two top teams at
the conclusion of tomorrow’s round robin play will meet over the
weekend in the national championship finals.

The evening matches of the 2007 US Youth Soccer National
Championships concluded today with preliminary round play in the
Under-17 and Under-19 divisions at Pizza Hut Park. More than
10,000 were on hand as the crowds grew tonight as Texas fans
enjoyed unusually cool summer evening. Local teams showed up to
support their older counterparts and learn from the elite
players that are competing for a national title this week.
