Team Daily Reports
Boys U-19 -- CN -- So. San Jose/San Juan Ruckus

Reports will be posted when received.

DAY 4: Thursday in Dallas was a quiet day and an exciting night... the boys relaxed all day to prepare for their game against the Texans at 7:30pm.  The boys were just about ready to begin the game when the fields were cleared because of lightning...  the sky lit up and about thirty minutes of strong rain followed... then as quickly as it came, it was gone.  We retook the field and after a hasty five minute warm up, we began.  It was a battle.  Both sides played extremely well-- the final score was 1-1.

DAY 3: A lot of parents arrived for the start of the games Wednesday.  It was wonderful to have so many here in support of the boys.  Here are a couple of pictures of the team in action-- one from training Tuesday and the pre-game huddle.  The weather also cooperated, it has not been too hot... but of course our last tournament was Las Vegas so anything seems better than that!  We look forward to our second game after suffering our first loss... GO RUCKUS!!!!!!!!!

DAY 2: The Player Lunch was a great event.  It was in a huge ballroom with all the players from all the Regions dressed up nicely.  One of the boys commented on how nice it was to arrive to a  hotel lobby full of beautifully dressed girls...  Once they arrived at the luncheon, the team was interviewed for TV!  You can see a picture from the interview here as well as some of the boys before the lunch.  We also had a nice dinner at Outback following practice at Pizza Hut Park and should be rested and ready for our first game!

DAY 1: We arrived safely in Dallas from San Francisco at around midnight.  It was very hot and humid even at midnight!  There were not many options for food since it was so late... quite a few team members resorted to walking down the street to Burger King where they had to walk-thru the drive-thru!  They were not alone however-- there were literally hundreds of crickets!  You should have seen the high knees through the crickets... a new training technique perhaps?
