SHALUMM! This is the famous Brittany Nomady, Natalie Ohishi, and Kristi Atkinson typing to you as fast as we can, cause curfew is earlyyyy tonight! We started off the day by waking up around 9:00 to go and get breakfast, but as we skipped off to the elevators SiErRa spilt the OJ everywhereeeee, too bad for Natalie and Kristi cuz they got stuck cleaning it up! No worries we were off to the mall in our pajamas looking pretty attractive, suddenly everyone's mood changed : ]! We shopped around for awhile and ate lunch. Unfortunately at the mall i fell down and hurt my buuhoee superr bad, but its healing as we speak! We came back and took a quick hour long dip to refresh ourselves in the crystal clear pool at the Marriott Resort. Our precious mothers are so loving, they catered pasta, salad, drinks, etc. for us to chow down on for dinner, yuummm : ]. After we all huddled around in Nat's room watching the titanic, (((bless jack's little soul))) and then we had a team meeting on the sixth floor about all of our plans for tomorrow.

Its been funn, but it is past our curfew in all...We had such a gnarly day bro!
welp, see yahhh laterrr duuude!

Hey everyone!!!

Today was another eventful day for the Strikers. It started off with an eight-thirty game against the Michigan Hawks, lucky to come out on top; we pulled it together with a 2-0 win. The goals were great shots by Natalie Ohishi and Carly McLaughlin. The players who assisted were Lauren Nanez and Jennie Krauser. After our great game we went back to the hotel to refresh and get ready to see John Tucker Must Die. This turned out to be a really good movie that everyone loved. Following the movie we returned to the hotel to get ready for the BBQ which was for all the players and parents. The BBQ turned out to be a blast; there was a live band and good food. After all the fun things we did today we ended the night with a movie in Sierra’s room and had one of the best times ever. WISH US LUCK IN THE FINALS!!

Well this is Lindsay Gankema and Zoya Farzenah (persian) here to tell you about are pretty AWSOME day! Uhmmm well we started out the day having breakfast around 9 o'clock. (which in California is 7!) So, we skipped all the way to the elevators.. and then we waited about and hour just to get to the elevator. Finally, we went rolled inside with our grasshopping powers. Then ate breakfast. Next, our coach Trevmister (Trevor) told us to have a meeting on the 6th floor. Waiting for trevor to come upstairs.. our team had some pretty cool handshakes that grasshopper Sierra had shown us. We did the hanshake for about...i dont know...maybe 5 hours. Then after our team meeting we all met down stairs to go to our game. Even though early in the morning it started to rain, by the time are game came it was 100 DEGREESSSSSS .. we still ended up winnning with a score of 1-0 against the Hershey Attack/Pennslyvania team. Sooooo we came back to the hotel and got ready to go to PF CHANNGGIESSSS!!!!! In about 10 minutes we already destroyed the retsurant, knowing us CRAZY girls ITS WHAT WE DO BABY BOO!!!! We came home about 2 hours later and had a team meeting in a pretty SWEET room. This ended our day for us isc gasshoopers. And were sent off to bed at 8:30, WHICH IS REALLY EARLY FOR US!!!!

Well hello there this would be Nicole DePuy and Paige Gankema reporting live from DES MOINES IOWA!!!! Oh yes and if you are wondering there is soooososoososos much to do here it is INSANE!!

Well Paige, it is so great to have you guest starring on my show today so lets get down to business.

Alright Nicole to the start of our very pleasant journey;

We strikers had to wake up really early and be down at breakfast at 9. Nicole decided to eat everything in site soo 12 of our girls went to a buffet breakfast at the restaurant inside the hotel.

Very funny Paige hahaha but no really since we were the last team to breakfast there wasn't really anything left for us to eat. And you know how us girls need our grub.

Since our game was at 5 30 and we had nothing to do till about 3 30 we all decided to go in to Kristi's room yes KRISTI'S room to watch a very educational movie.

Well Nicole I wouldn't consider watching Hostel that educational but what ever.

After that exciting 2 hours we decided to go to Quiznos. But, the line was about, not that long, maybe just about a 4 hour wait. So you know us we had to get SOME FOOD! So we walked to the food court and ate at last.

Paigeeeyyy don't forget about the part where we met the Dallas Texans U15 team. They were all very nice and encouraging to us.

Wow Nicole, that was DEEP. That touched me.

Oh I know Paige!!! You know the saying time flies when our having fun well that wasn't really the case. Haha yes we were having fun but the day was not going anywhere.

So once game time came around we got all ready and serious. We waited in the players tent at the field and did some "team exercises" by that I mean some sweet handshakes we learned from the Hawaii gals. Thank you and Aloha.

Yes Nicole it was very nerve raking, we were all pumped to play the Texans. Unfortunately we tied 1-1 but with an amazing goal by Lauren Nanez. WOOOPWOOP

Paige after the game we were kinda mad that the end result was a tie but it just made us more determined to win the next game against Hershey and yes Paige they are from the one and only PENNSYLVANIA.

Well after that great game Nicole we all came back to the hotel and took showers because our white jerseys were pretty intensely muddy from the rain. To put the cherry on top of the sundae it was 100 degrees with 80% humidity.

Yes Paige it was pretty hot. Well it is getting close to being the end of our broadcast so to rap it up after the showers we had a very nice meeting with our coach Trevor Ikes, who yes just got MARRIED ABOUT A WEEK A GO!!

Congratulationsssss Trev Daddy,

GOODNITE ALLL

WoWO-wOw :]

Today was PreTTy iNsaNE  !!!

We woke up early and went to breakfast ( a lil' too early if you ask me ) but anyways...some people arrived late last night so this morning was like a mini family reunion.  After breakfast we were on our way to practice.  Then... BBAAAYYYYMMMM !!! practice was canceled because of poor weather conditions.  There were heavy rains and CrAzY thunder and lightning.  Finally back in the comfort of our lovely GiNoRmOus hotel, we all got ready for the luncheon. There we heard some great speeches ( some better then others ) :] but nevertheless inspirational.   Also, we were able to check out the CoOLeST trophies, and even our competition.  To add on to our GreAT day...the power in the restaurant where we ate dinner went out while a storm was passing through...& just our luck it goes out in the hotel too!!!  forcing us ( who don't work out ) to take take the stAirS of dEaTh (bum bum buuuum!!!) later on the power came back on and our team was beginning to settle down.  We all got some fReE StuFf and decided to call it a day.

Hello everyone :) We are currently embarking on an amazing adventure in Des Moines, Iowa. Here's how our first day played out...

Most of our team got in around midnight last night and as soon as we arrived we ordered pizza, which was delivered around 1:00 AM. Eventually, we ended up falling asleep around 2:00 AM, getting about a total of five hours of rest. For those of us that got in earlier that afernoon, rest was much easier to come by for our practice at 8:30 AM. The Mariott, a place we shall call home for the next eight days, is quite nice. This morning, the few girls that were already here ate breakfast in the player's lounge down in the buffet. After, we headed to the soccer complex for an hour-long practice to stay on the very top of our game. Back at the hotel, most of us went to the pool to cool off from the hot weather. Afterwards we hung out in each other's rooms and watched movies, ordered room service, and took a well needed nap. Later our team and parents ate at the Cheesecake Factory at the mall nearby. While all of our parents were socializing, we went throughout the mall to shop... they even have a hollister out here in Iowa (JK) = ]. After a few hours of shopping, we finally headed back to the hotel and called it a day!!!

However... while producing this masterpiece Amanda and Carly decided to order some chicken fingers and desserts to help them get through this vigorous process (LOL).

MUCHO LOVE . PEACE OUT YA'LL IN CALI.  :)
