Today we woke up at 7:30 am.  We ate a light breakfast in our room.  After, went to the Wide World of Sports Complex to practice for an hour.  We then rushed to the hotel and got ready for the player luncheon.  The player luncheon lasted for a few hours.  During the afternoon we relaxed in our rooms and gave massages while watching television.  We went to dinner Golden Coral (a steak buffet).  We came back and our coach Larry gave us an inspirational speech to get us P U M P E D for the game.  Then we went to bed.

Today we woke up early and got ready to go to practice at the Wide World of Sports Complex.  There we practiced intensely and sweating profusely in the hot, humid air.  After practice, we drove back to the hotel and ate lunch at Downtown Disney.  After lunch, we took a dip in the pool.  Then we had a lot of free time to ourselves.  Dinner was at Buca di Beppo.  After a good meal, our team had a quick meeting and then it was lights out.

It all started with getting up at 8:00 am and going to a totally killer workout in the wonderful humidity and the blazing sun in our faces.  We played for 2 hours working on getting used to the atmosphere.  I must say I was exhausted at the end of the practice.  We all gave it what we could but in the back of our minds all we could think about was going to Disney World later on that day.  After we cooled down and ate some lunch we headed back to the hotel to get cleaned up & go to the Magic Kingdom!!!!!  We went down to the bus that would take us to our destination.  When we got there the girls and Larry were all smiles.  It really is the happiest place on earth :.  The first ride we hit was Splash Mountain because it was freakin' hot.  The ride was killer, I loved it!  Then we caught up with the parents & Larry to head over to Thunder Mountain, don't worry, the ride is much better in California.  The day kept getting better!  The rides we encountered were The Haunted Mansion, It's a Small World and the Buzz Lightyear ride.  All in all, the best ride was Space Mountain, it was so awesome.  They have the unexpected drops & it was the coolest.  We also got to watch the Princess Show and take pictures with Pinocchio & Gepeto.  We loved Disney World but not as much as spending time with our superest friends & team mates.  Wish all you guys @ home could be here.

We woke up at 3 am in the morning, with only 2 or 3 hours of sleep, to drive to LAX and we were all excited to go to Florida .  We arrived at the airport 2 hours early.  There wasn’t anything to do but to sit, listen to I-pods and talk.  We boarded the plane in a group and luckily we all got to sit together.

On the plane some people watched movies and gathered around our coach, Larry, to watch some soccer clips.  And then, there were the people obsessed with Harry Potter.

Our 3 hour flight to Houston seemed like 3 days because we were all tired and weren’t allowed to sleep.  Our coach wanted us to acclimate to the new time zone, but some people couldn’t resist and fell asleep.  Finally, after another 2 hours, we arrived in Florida and immediately realized the humidity and the heat. When we arrived at the hotel, we dropped our bags off and went to dinner at Sweet Tomatoes.  After dinner, we went to “Winn Dixie” to buy some groceries and then returned to the hotel.

After a team meeting in our coach, Larry’s room, we were finally able to go to sleep after a VERY long and eventful day.
