Magic came out strong and played us heads and scored on us early in the first half shortly after they scored we srcored our first goal Magic kicked off and went right down and scored again on us we pressed on but went into second half down 2-1. We got the Winston Churchill speach from coach Steve Lucey at half me and and when the half started we were ready we pressed their defense working the ball all around filling all the lanes in the box and was able to deliver 3 unanswered goals, Davis Paul scored the first goal on a corner kick, He got his second goal a follow up shot from Ryan Peterman, who in tur got his own goal on a breakaway, but the goal of the game the tieing on a cross from the deap right corner by Bayron Cerna to Ryan Gamboa who leaped into the air to head the ball into the back of the net. Who said Florida is the Sunshine State?? Today we got up at 0430 and on the field by 0600 after signing in.

What we thought was going to be a nice day, turned into a rain shower !! But we didn't let a lot of rain get in the way of a good soccer game!! Solar is a great team they came out strong and scored in the first half, by the second half we were able to tie things up !! After our game we stayed around and supported some of the other CalSouth and Regional IV teams.

The Arsenal Boys U-15 Soccer Team, representing Cal South and Region IV, departed from Los Angeles International Airport Florida on Friday, July 16, 2004 en route to Orlando, Florida for the USYSA National Championships being held at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex.

The team arrived early in the morning of Saturday, July 17, and though most of the players relaxed around the hotel pool waiting to be able to check into the hotel rooms, others went to enjoy local attractions such as Kennedy Space Center. Once the tired team checked into their hotel rooms it was a light dinner and early to bed for the boys.

Early Sunday morning, at 6:00 am, the boys got right to work going for a three mile run prior to the regular scheduled practice at 9:00 am. The boys were able to practice for more than an hour but as soon as practice ended, the skies opened and it began to pour heavy rain, which continued off and on for the rest of the day.

Again on Monday morning the boys rose early and took a jog for about three miles before going to the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex for their regularly scheduled practice. The boys enjoyed a fast-paced inter-squad scrimmage for about an hour. The rest of the day, the boys enjoyed miniature golf, relaxing around the pool, and a team dinner at the Golden Corral Buffet. The boys are going to have an early curfew as they play their first game versus Solar 89, the Region III Champion, from Dallas, Texas, at 7:30 am.
