Region IV is proud to announce the appointment of Ms. Sandy Castillo to lead the Region IV TOPSoccer program.

Sandy comes to the Regional job from Cal South and is well known to the Region IV TOPSoccer community.  She has been a strong supporter of the program for kids with special needs as the Cal South TopSoccer Chair since 2002.  For ten years prior to accepting that role, she had been driving the program in her local club for ten years.

Sandy’s passion for the program has resulted in 24 TOPSoccer programs throughout Cal South and we wish her the very best as she brings her energy to our Region IV activities.

Sandy takes over the job from longstanding former Chair, Ray Welch of Cal North.  During his service to the Region IV TOPSoccer program Ray made great strides in cultivating state programs, and was always a vibrant and passionate ambassador for our special needs players.  Ray recently bowed out of the role citing a desire for more family time, and to direct his boundless energy to other more local soccer activities.
