Marco’s involvement in youth soccer began in 1968 when he arrived in
Seattle from Brasil as a youth player. After several years as a
semi-pro player he began to coach boys teams, and helped form the
Heat Premier Soccer Club which later merged to become the Highline
Soccer Association. Over the years, Marco has held numerous
coaching and board positions, contributing significantly to the
soccer culture of Seattle, and has been a cornerstone of youth
soccer in Washington State. |
As a
Girls Competitive Coach in the Cascade Futbol Club/Salem United
Soccer Club, Tom Jaeger has been outstanding as a coach, leader
and mentor to his players, placing the emphasis on personal
improvement in the sport rather than winning. In addition to his
duties at the club level, Tom is coaches the soccer teams at West
Salem high School. With a 2008 U-14 Girls State Cup Championship
to his credit, it is apparent that Tom’s coaching philosophy pays
off. His approach of team unity and mutual respect among all
members of the team has had a lasting impact on those he has
coached. |
